The beaches are gravel and rocky, suitable for swimming, sunbathing and diving. Summer heat is relieved by light wind. Some of the more distant beaches (Valuna, Martisnica, Lubenica, Sv.Blaz, Belog and Orlec) can be reached on the old paths through the olive groves and macadam or by car or tourist boats.
